Martha Stephens Todd, 88, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Barron and Rev. Chris Humphries officiating.  Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . A private graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Panama City, FL. Martha Todd was born December 24, 1930 in Panama City, FL to the late A.C. Stephens and Ruth Sowell Stephens.  She graduated from Bay County High School and Florida State University and received her master's degree from Valdosta State University. Martha married Joe Jack Todd in 1950 and had two sons, Richard Joe Todd and Steven Jay Todd. She taught at Jenks Jr. High School in Panama City, FL and Bainbridge High School in Bainbridge, GA in Business Education where she retired in 1993. Martha was a member of First Baptist Church where she worked for 50 years in the Youth Department. She was also a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa International Honorary organization for Women educators, and she belonged to the Georgia Retired Educators Association where she served as treasurer. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Joe Jack Todd; her son, Richard Joe Todd; her daughters-in-law, Sheila H. Todd and Linda Todd Crooms; her grandsons, Colby & Sara Beth Todd, Kyle & Julie Todd, and Steven & Kristen; her granddaughters. Tiffany Todd & Heith Maxwell and Brittany Todd & Stephen Scott; her great-grandchildren, Jaycee Maxwell, Caroline Maxwell, Charlieann Maxwell, Reed Phillips, Eva Anne Scott, Luke Scott, Asher Scott, Gavin Todd and Hunter Todd; her sisters, Caroline Bradley of Rockledge, FL. and Gwen Tillotson of Tampa, FL. Martha was preceded in death by her son, Steven Jay Todd.
