Mary Clements

Mary Ann Clements, 70, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA. The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andy Glover officiating. Interment will be at Blakely Cemetery in Blakely, GA. Mary Ann was born November 1, 1940 in Anniston, AL, the daughter of John William Wheeler and Cassie Adel Stricklin. She was a waitress for many years, most recently at the Bainbridge Huddle House and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughters, Carla Mae Long and her husband, Greg, of Bainbridge, GA, Juanita Peschel of Mobile, AL, and Brenda Peschel of Fairmont, NE; her brother, John W. Wheeler, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of O'Brien, FL; her sister, Barbara Martin of Atlanta, GA; and Cassie Annmarie Long, her granddaughter whom she called "Princess."
