Mary Elizabeth (Parker) Cook, age 50, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia. A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, November 15, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen Griffin will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 3:00 pm.
Mary Elizabeth (Parker) Cook was born in Bainbridge, GA. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Katherine Powell; grandfather, Ralph Powell, Sr.; father, Marvin Perry Parker, Sr.; mother, Deborah Iann Powell Parker; sister, Sandra Lee Parker; brother, Marvin Perry Parker Jr.; and child, Cantley Perry Cook.
Mary Beth was a graduate of the Class of ‘93. She loved to do hair and spend time with family. She enjoyed any Rascal Flatts song and watching the sun set on the beach. Mary Beth will be dearly missed by all those who loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Carlton Jeriet Cook Sr.; children, Kaitlyn Wynn (Josh), Devin Lizotte, Carlton Jeriet Cook, Jr., Austin Cook (Vivian), Arthur Cook; niece, Jennifer Castro (Martin) and their children, Miguel, Ava, and Ian; and grandchildren, RaeLynn Wynn, Ashton and Legend Cook, Dahlia, Vada, and Waylan Cook; and many friends she considered family.
