Mrs. Mary Lou Durham, 89, of Brinson, GA, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Bainbridge Health Care. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Bethany Baptist Church near Brinson, GA with Rev. Tommy Willis and Mr. John Faircloth officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Remus Matthews, Carroll Jones, Bobby Barber, Steve Dean, Jimmy King, and Will Barber serving as active pallbearers. Miss Durham was born September 19, 1917 in Brinson, GA to the late Perry Davis Durham and Orrie Eugenia Mock Durham. She graduated from Brinson High School in 1935 and was a retired training instructor for Bainbridge State Hospital. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Survivors include two sisters, Zenie Earnest and Rose Ella Everett, both of Brinson, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
