Mary Durham

Mary Dutton Durham, age 86 of Donalsonville, Georgia, died on January 26, 2026, at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 29, in the Brinson Baptist Church, Brinson, Georgia. The Reverend Robert Crapps will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 am. Mrs. Durham will be buried beside her husband in Brinson Cemetery.

Mary Dutton was born in Donalsonville, Georgia to the late Leroy and Lucille Spooner Dutton. Mary grew up in Donalsonville and graduated from Seminole County High School. She studied cosmetology under her aunt and became a beautician. She married Henry Durham in 1964 and moved to Brinson, Georgia, where she operated her beauty shop for any years. Later in life, she spent her time sitting with and meeting the needs of those in need of assistance. Mary was an excellent cook and won many awards both as a 4-Her and later as an adult.

Mary is survived by her sons, Jeff Durham, and his special friend, Paula Smith, and Mark Durham, and one grandson, Hunter Durham. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Duncan, of Quitman, Georgia, and her brother, Bob Dutton of Albany, Georgia, Mary was preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, Tom Dutton, and sister, Caryl Dutton Knight.
