Mary Gray

Mrs. Mary Katy Barryhill Gray, age 67, passed away early Thursday, February 26, 2015, at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia. A service will be held for Mrs. Gray, Saturday, February 28, 2015, 11:00 a.m., at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Nichols and Mr. Wayne Josey will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Katy was born September 18, 1947, to John Sulven Barryhill and Mandy Elizabeth Brown Barryhill. She was married to Billy Joe Gray. Katy was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Gray enjoyed the outdoors. She loved to fish. Katy was talented at crochet. She also loved her soaps. Katy Gray will be sorely missed by the family and friends she loved so very much. P.S., she\\'s in the Lord\\'s arms now! Mrs. Gray is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Gray of Bainbridge; children, Randy Blyth and wife, Tina of Bainbridge and Timothy Wayne Blyth and wife, Diane of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters, Sue Nichols and husband, Jack of Cairo, Georgia, Cricket Miller of South Carolina; brother, Earnest Barryhill and wife, Alice of Hazelhurst, Georgia; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Sulven Barryhill and Mandy Elizabeth Brown Barryhill; son, Samuel Dessie Blyth; brothers, Billy Ray Barryhill, John T. Barryhill, Loyal Barryhill; and sister, Virginia Barryhill.
