Mary Harrell

Mary Frances Harrell, 98, of Lake City, FL., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Mrs. Mary Frances was born on July 7, 1915 to her parents Andrew Jackson Sellers and Ether Newsome. She was the granddaughter of J. M. Y. Sellers and Mary Elizabeth Casey Sellers. She always wore a hat and was frequently referred to by her friends as "The Hat Lady". She never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew her. Survivors include her daughters, Jackie Harrell Rich of Lake City, FL and Linda Juniel Davis (Jim) of Columbus, GA; her grandchildren, Kimberly R. Cole (John) of Lake City, FL, Kevin Rich (Margaret) of Westminster, CO, and Matthew Davis of New York City, NY; her great-grandchildren, Tyler Hagler, Lauren Hagler, and Michael Hagler, all of Lake City, FL, Nathan Rich and Joseph Rich, both of Westminster, CO. She was preceded in death by her husband and childhood sweetheart, Joe C. Harrell.
