Mary Hubner

After a short illness, Mrs. Mary L. Scarabin Hubner, age 90, of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, passed away, Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at Great Gran's Personal Care Home in Donalsonville, Georgia. A service will be held for Mrs. Hubner at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Fr. David Hamm, S.T. will officiate. Mary Louise Scarabin Hubner was born November 27, 1924 in Apalachicola, Florida to Mary Reese Scarabin and John Frank Scarabin. She was a homemaker. Mary loved to dance and travel. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a faithful member of the senior citizen's group. As a hobby, she worked needlepoint and played the organ. Mrs. Hubner is survived by her sister, Annie Mapp of Deer Meadows, Washington; local niece, Mary Ann Moye of Donalsonville, Georgia; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Hammack and Karl Huber, her parents, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers.
