Mary Evelyn Laing Jones, 69, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. She was a member of Beulah Thomas Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, antiquing, and morning coffee at Hardee's.Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Jones of Bainbridge; her grandchildren, Lili Grace and Nicholous Rynn Merritt; her siblings, Charlie Laing of Climax, GA, and Ella Marie McGraw and her husband, Vincent, of Clarks Summit, PA; and numerous extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Chasity Jones Merritt; and her siblings, J.W. Laing, Walt Laing, and Pat Moore.
