Mary Rathel

Mary Rathel, 81, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, June 8, 2009 at Memorial Hospital. The graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Mrs. Rathel was born February 15, 1928 in Gordon, AL daughter of Alvie Harlow and Annie Mae Bulloch Harlow. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Rathel; her sons, Robert Rathel and Allen Rathel; and her grandson, Tim Rathel. Survivors include her son Charles Rathel of Jonesboro, GA, two grandchildren, Kylie Swicord and Tammy Lampp and four great-grandchildren.
