Mary Stokley

Mary "Donna" Stokley, 70, of Ellisville, MS passed away February 28, 2019. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She retired from a long and successful career with Ellisville State School in Ellisville, MS.  She also taught Sociology and Psychology in multiple community colleges throughout Mississippi.  Donna loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and following their education and activities.  She was a faithful member of Washington Missionary Baptist Church in Neely, MS. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Harrison Harrell, Sr. and Mary Cynthia Baxter of Bainbridge, GA. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Leroy Stokley; her children, Brennon Garnell Johnson, Jr. (Allison), Bradson Harrison Johnson (Tracy), Misty Lee Smith (Johnnie); brother, Homer Harrison Harrell, Jr. (Pat); grandchildren, Sydney, Kailey, Aaron, Brynnan, and Savannah; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation for Mrs. Stokley will begin at 2 pm, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Washington Missionary Baptist Church in Neely, MS.  A Funeral Service will follow at 3 pm with Bro. Ray Freeman officiating. Interment will be Monday, March 4, 2019 at 1 pm EST at West Bainbridge Cemetery on Lake Drive in Bainbridge, GA.
