Mary Thomas

Mrs. Mary Louise Thomas died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Donalsonville Hospital in Donalsonville, Georgia. Mrs. Thomas had recently moved to Donalsonville from Dothan, Alabama. Services will be Thursday, May 19, 2011, 4:00 p.m., at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Grubbs will be officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service; beginning at 3:00 p.m. Louise was born February 6, 1926 in Columbia, Alabama to Joseph William and Cora Dukes Thorne. She married Andrew Harvey Thomas, who preceded her in death. She was a mother and homemaker. Mrs. Thomas was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama. Louise is survived by her children: Frank Thomas and wife, Naomi, of Donalsonville, Georgia and Mary Thomas of Marion, North Carolina; grandson, Lane Rosenfeld of Marion, North Carolina; brothers: Frasier Thorne and wife, Lee, of San Antonio, Texas, Billy Thorne and wife, Linda, of Dothan, Alabama; sisters: Othell Stewart of Ashford, Alabama, Catherine Chandler of Dothan, Alabama, Joanne Merritt of Dothan, Alabama, and Linda Taylor of Dothan, Alabama.
