Mary Weaver

Mary Weaver, 71, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Mary was born July 19, 1939 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of James Gary Thompson and Mary Idell Wright Thompson. A graduate of West Bainbridge High School, she retired from Coats & Clark and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her sons, Johnny Ray Widner and Michael DeWayne Weaver, and a grandson, Michael Weaver. Survivors include her brother, James Thompson and his wife Joyce of Brinson, GA; and her sisters, Barbara Blanchard and her husband Henry of Bainbridge, GA and Thelma Cotele Hartzo of Albany, GA; four granddaughters, Hannah Weaver, Brandy Weaver, Jessica Widner, and Joni Hosmer, all of Tallahassee, FL; her great-grandson, Hendrix Hosmer of Tallahassee, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
