Mary E. Widner, 77, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016.The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Gordon Cemetery in Blakely, GA.The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May15, 2016 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.Mrs . Widner was born August 3, 1938 in Blakely, GA. She enjoyed cooking for her family and working in the yard. She loved flowers, especially tulips. Mrs. Widner loved her family, mostly her great-grandchildren, whom kept her going.Survivors include her son, Charles Widner of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Maranda Holmes and her husband, Joshua, of Climax, GA, Cassandra Widner of Bainbridge, GA, Patricia Widner of Colquitt, GA, Thomas J. Widner and his wife, Patricia, of Colquitt, GA and Joyce Musgrove of Bradenton, FL; and her great-grandchildren, Natalie, Bentley, Cotton, Hector, Cameron, Chase, Braxston, T.J., Levi, Mercedes, Ariel, Gabriel, Wesley and Elizabeth. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Widner; her children, Tommy Widner and Wendy Baker.
