Mary Williamson

Mary Hilda Williamson, 83, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Medley officiating and will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be at Oak City Cemetery. Mary Hilda was born August 8, 1928 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Joseph Thomas Floyd and Frances Belle Matthews Floyd. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and retired with over 20 years of service as a secretary for Bainbridge State Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church and also a member of the Lydia Sunday School Class. Survivors include her son, Tommy Williamson and his wife, Sonya, of Climax, GA; her daughter, Debbi Howard of Bainbridge, GA; and her two grandchildren, Kendall Howard of Bainbridge, GA and Malori Williamson of Valdosta, GA.
