Matilda Dodd Trawick, 86, of Tallahassee, FL, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, FL with Rev. Pamela McMillian officiating. The graveside service will be at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2015. at Open Pond Cemetery in Jakin, GA with Rev. Doug Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Trawick was born March 14, 1929 in Sarasota, FL, the daughter of Hubert Dodd and Gladys Harvey Dodd. She was a very loyal member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, FL. Mrs. Trawick received her bachelors degree in music from Weslyan College in Macon, GA and retired as a teacher with the Leon County, FL School System. She enjoyed crochet and was a member of the Arts and Crafts Society of Tallahassee. Mrs. Trawick spent time studying her Bible and volunteering with various church activities. Survivors include her children, Pamela Trawick Parker of Tallahassee, FL, Lee Trawick and his wife, Krystal, of Madison, MS and Megan Jowers and her husband, Larry, of Whigham, GA; her sisters, Becky Hollady of Tallahassee, FL and Berta Marbut of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Jeannie Spears, Heather Puckett, Nikki Parker-Rendo, Kylee Trawick, Parker Trawick, Rachel Jowers and Maxwell Jowers; and her great-grandchildren, Kyle Spears, Tia Puckett, Colby Puckett, Liam Rendo and Nikko Rendo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Lee Trawick, Sr, and her sister, Ginny Lane Dodd.
