Matthew Spooner

Mr. Matthew Lee Spooner, age 58, of Bainbridge, Georgia passed to his eternal home on January 24, 2022. Matthew was born July 16, 1963, in Bainbridge. He was a former Corrections Officer and a certified mechanic with INL. Later he worked as a mechanic for Seminole Sanitation, a job he loved. Matthew enjoyed his time volunteering for the Bikefest Charity Event and enjoyed the many friends he made there. He would do anything for any person. Matthew Spooner was preceded in death by his mother, Lavern Batten. He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Chavers and his very special friends, Linward (Linny) Cox, his “brother”, and Ellyn Womble. Thank you for all you did for him! No services are planned at this time. A celebration of Life will be held later. Loved by many, missed by all. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
