Mattie Harmon

At 74 years of age, Mattie Mae Harmon, born July 26th 1945, passed away peacefully at home in Cusseta, Ga, on May 14th 2020. Mae was a retired Registered Nurse of 33 years, born, and raised in Bainbridge, Ga. She was a Christian who loved Jesus and loved her family. Mae thoroughly enjoyed being a "GG" , which stood for Great Grandmother. Mae Harmon is preceded in death by her Mother, Fannie Mae Kent Tomlinson; father, Edger Tomlinson; brother, Will Daniel Tomlinson; daughter, Virginia Diane Haines; and great-granddaughter, Hartlie Diane Moore. She is survived by two daughters, Toni (John) Moore and Richelle (Carl) Genco; three grand-daughters, Rachael Howard, Robyn Moore, and Brittany Genco; four grandsons, Carl (April) Haines, Anthony Genco, John Moore, and Seth Kautz; and three great-granddaughters, Adelyn Wiley, Karlly Haines and Hailoh Rodriguez. Due to COVID-19 there will be no public service, however, she will be laid to rest in the Beulah Thomas Church Cemetery in her hometown of Bainbridge, Ga.
