Ms. Mattie Lou Moore, 84, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Memorial Manor. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Southwest Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Harrell officiating. Her nephews will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. Luther Williams officiating. Mattie Lou was born August 31, 1925 in Baldwin, GA, the daughter of Andy and Susie Martin Moore. She was a graduate of Baldwin High School, Class of 1942 and a retired worker with ITT Electrical Division. She was a member of Southwest Baptist Church. Survivors include her sister, Josephine Gibson of Hortense, GA; her brothers, Odis Moore of Newton, AL and Tony Moore of Headland, AL; her sister-in-law, Virginia Moore of Bainbridge, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
