Melody Walker

Melody Lynn Walker (Didi), age 57, passed away very suddenly on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Archbold -Grady, in Cairo, Georgia. The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date.

Melody was born November 7, 1966, in Port Huron, Michigan. She was born to her father, Al Odbert and her mother, Martha Elaine Moutoux Carr. Melody was a “Mama Mel” to a lot of people. Her kind heart made her reach out to others. She loved her animals especially her dogs who were so special to her. She loved working in her yard and very much enjoyed playing the “Ding Ding” machines. Her heart belonged to her grandchildren and to her husband of over 30 years, Frank Paul Walker. Melody will be missed by her loving family and many friends.

Melody Lynn Walker is survived by her husband, Frank Paul Walker of Cairo, her children, Jack Ashley Eidson Walker of Atlanta, Georgia and Martha Elaine Samantha Sadler (Kelly) of Moultrie, Georgia, and her grandchildren, Konner Jones and Keegan Jones both of Moultrie. She is also survived by her siblings, Sheri Hale (Steve) of Port Huron, Michigan, Kate Gilliam (Dave) of St. Clair, Michigan, Marti Kay Harper (Brian) of Houston, Texas, Michelle Platz (Joe) of Texas, Barbara Witt (Jeff) of Texas, and Barbara Bauman (Joe) of St. Clair, Michigan as well as many nieces and nephews.
