Michael J. Aehlert, 64, of Bainbridge, GA, formerly of Boca Raton, FL, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016.A private memorial service will be held at a later date. He was a high school graduate and proudly served in the United States Air Force. Michael retired as a general sales manager for Homestead Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge dealership. He was of Jewish faith.Michael enjoyed sports especially racing. He built and raced his own car for a number of years. The joy of his life were his children. Their presence lit a fire in his heart. Survivors include his wife of over 41 years, Joni Steinberg Aehlert; his children, Andrea Brooke Aehlert Spridik and Adam Joshua Aehlert, both of Boca Raton, FL; his sister, Janis Hudson, of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Andrew Michael and Cameron Jack. Michael was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Michael Aehlert.
