Michael Franklin Barrett August 26, 1957 - August 27, 2021 Michael Franklin Barrett of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 following an extended illness. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the family's  residence, 150 Lissa Drive, Bainbidge, GA. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mr. Barrett, a native of Alpharetta, Georgia  was the son of the late Hershel and Helen Lee Barrett. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years. Michael enjoyed the outdoors. Many good times were spent camping, fishing and riding through the country. Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Ilona Barrett, Daughters; Stephannie Barrett, Nicole Barrett and Samantha Barrett all of Atlanta, Georgia, 4 Step daughters; Sherry Lewis, Tina Whitaker, Heather Whitaker, Jenny Whitaker all of Bainbridge, Georgia. Step-son Anthony Whitaker of Jacksonville, Florida. Two brothers; Phillip Barrett of Dahlonega, Georgia and Rick Barrett of Boston, MA. 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
