Michael Hutto

Mr. Michael Larue Hutto, age 65, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at his home in Seminole County, Georgia, surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 6, 2:00 pm, at New Life at Lake Seminole Church, 2164 GA Highway 253, Donalsonville, Georgia 39845. The Rev. Glenn Elmore will officiate.

Michael Larue Hutto was born December 25, 1960, the baby of the eight children of Malcolm Lee Hutto and Cladys Mable Brock Hutto. He has been married 20 years to the love of his life, Ruby Moat Hutto. Mike loved to hunt and fish. He liked to keep his yard looking good. Mike enjoyed watching The Spirit of the Outdoors, NASCAR, or Boxing on television and was an avid GA Bulldog fan (Go dawgs!). Mike loved his family deeply, especially the grandchildren, and will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

Mike Hutto is survived by his wife, Ruby Moat Hutto of Donalsonville, Georgia; daughter, Shelley Cobb (Ken) of Donalsonville; siblings, Joyce Dawes (Bob) of St. Augustine, Florida, June Faircloth of Bainbridge, Georgia, Billy Hutto (Dixie) of Climax, Georgia and Ed Hutto of Climax; grandchildren, Ashley Durden (Landon) of Iron City, Georgia and Cody Layton of Donalsonville; great grandchildren, Addison Mitchell, Kole Mitchell and Gatlon Durden; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
