Michael James "Jamie" Troup II, 49, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Michael James Troup II was born October 31, 1971 in Tampa, FL, the son of Michael James Troup and Shirley Godwin Troup. Jamie lived most of his life in the Tampa area where he was a member of  First Church of God, Tampa. He retired from Chili's and moved to Bainbridge in 2013. Jamie attended Solid Rock Church. Jamie was tender hearted with a little mischief mixed in. He loved the Lord, his mama, and all sports teams. He loved playing sports, watching sporting events and keeping up with every single statistic. Jamie was a walking wealth of updated stats on all his favorite teams. He was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing a good meal with family and friends. Survivors include his daughter, Lisette Marie Troup Belden of Albuquerque, NM; his mother and step-father, Shirley & Richard Hollon; his grandfather, James A. Troup; his sister, Natasha Troup; and his five grandchildren. Jamie was preceded in death by his father, and his daughter, Mikayla Ivey Troup.
