Milton "Monk" Hamilton, 62, of Climax, GA, passed away Monday, August 25, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Medley officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 30, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to the funeral service at Ivey Funeral Home. He was a millwright for Classon Industrial and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include three sons, David Hamilton of Shelton, WA, Billy Hamilton of Pensacola, FL, and Daniel Hamilton of Ocala, FL; two brothers, Charles Hamilton of Marble Valley, AL and Buddy Hamilton of Marbury, AL; five sisters, Katherine Edwards of Fayetteville, AL, Lorene Bess of Dadeville, AL, Jean Poe of Fultondale, AL, Mae Connelley of Weogufka, AL, and Judith Bush of Mt. Olive, AL; and two grandchildren, Nathan Hamilton of Pensacola, FL and Ayla Hamilton of Shelton, WA.
