Minnie Hatcher

Minnie Lee Rich Hatcher, 85, of Mableton, GA and formerly of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011 at WellStar Tranquility Hospice in Austell, GA. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Stapleton officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Greg Musgrove, David Cannon, Gene Dunlap, Bobby White, Quinton Horne, Lonnie Hatcher, and Mike Webster serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Hatcher was born August 19, 1926 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Elijah Allen Rich and Bennie Lou Parker Rich. She was a devoted homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Otis W. Hatcher; her children, Dovey Davis, Dee Ann Hatcher, and Otis Hatcher, Jr.; her brother, Allen "Buck" Rich, Jr.; her sister, Fran Rich; her grandchildren, Katie Merrill, Wyatt Davis, and Margie Hatcher; and her 5 great-grandchildren.
