Mrs. Minnie M. Johnson,70, of the Faceville Community near Bainbridge, GA, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2007 at her residence. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2007 at Sylvania United Methodist Church with Reverend Donna Sue Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Sylvania Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Johnson was born June 1, 1937 in Jackson County, FL to the now late Thomas Jefferson Baxter and Viola Love Baxter. She was a homemaker and a member of Sylvania United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Max Brady and two half sisters, Ruby Manning and Lovie Hodges. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Leland O. Johnson of Faceville; four sons, Steven Craig Brady and wife Judy Pearl of Cypress, FL, David Brady and wife Rebecca of Calvary, GA, Ronnie Brady and wife Kimberly of Hudson, FL, and Randy Brady of Hudson, FL; her daughter, Katherine A. Wray of Bainbridge, GA; two stepchildren, Carmen Barfoot of Sneads, FL and Buddy Wayne Johnson of Bainbridge, GA; twenty-four grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great -great grandchildren.
