Minnie McCall Parker, 79, of Climax, GA passed away Friday, September 23, 2011 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Hardaway Assembly of God Church with Rev. Rawleigh Furney and Rev. Robin Ryals officiating. Interment will follow at Hardaway Assembly of God Church Cemetery with her grandsons serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Parker was born September 2, 1932 in Munson, FL, the daughter of Gilbert McDonald and Serena Rushing McDonald. She was a graduate of Munson High School, a retired nursing aid for Florida State Hospital, and a member of Hardaway Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her sons, Thad McCall, and his wife, Carol, of Jay, FL, Ricky McCall and his wife, Rose, of Climax, GA, Melvin McCall, Jr. of Chattahoochee, FL, and Gene McCall of Bainbridge, GA; her daughters, Shirley McCall Neely and her husband, Johnny, of Chattahoochee, FL and Wanda McCall Harrison and her husband, Dale, of Bainbridge, GA; her sisters, Sue Walden of Grand Ridge, FL and Ann Kilcrease of Baker, FL; her 16 grandchildren; and her 27 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Parker was preceded in death by her husbands, Melvin McCall, Amos Dean, and Alton Lewis Parker; her son William McCall; her daughter, Sheila McCall; her brother, Gilbert McDonald; and her sisters, Alice Reed, Mary Reed, and Martha Slaughter.
