Mona Harrell

Mona Boyd Harrell, 59, of Brinson, GA, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 at her residence. The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 24, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Taylor officiating. Mrs. Harrell was born March 21, 1951 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Robert Boyd and Minnie Kirkland Boyd. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1969 and a member of Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Harrell was an LPN and had worked for Memorial Hospital, Bainbridge Health Care, and Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Charles W. Harrell of Brinson, GA; her daughters, Laura Johnson and her husband Matt of Climax, GA and Tracy Sirmons and her husband Danny of Quincy, FL; her brothers, Jimmy Boyd and his wife Beth of Brinson, GA and Larry Boyd and his wife Shirley of Hull, GA; and her grandson, Ethan Daniel Sirmons.
