Morrell Donalson

Morrell H. (Cole) Donalson, 72, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, AL. The funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Bethany Baptist Church with Chaplain Dewitt Phillips and Rev. Earl Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Tommy Daniels, Nick Lozich, Gene Dunlap, Randy Dunlap, Steve Davis, Calvin Lockey and Chuck Lockey serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, prior to the funeral service. She served with the United States Army and was a homemaker. Mrs. Donalson was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #519 and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her first husband and the father of her children, Robert Cole. Survivors include her husband, Jim H. Donalson of Bainbridge, GA; her sons, Robert and Elizabeth Cole, II of Dothan, AL and Keith and Angie Donalson of Baytown, TX; her daughters, Theresa and Keith Harper of Cottonwood and Lisa Hodges of Claxton, GA; thirteen grandchildren, Robert and Holly Cole, III, Danielle and Bill Hall, Courtney Howard, Nathan Harper, Darren Donalson, Jammie Donalson, Breanna Donalson, Jessica Meijhan, Nicholas Donalson, Brandon Hodges, Aleshia Godby, Makayla Hodges and Skyler Hodges; five great-grandchildren, Gabraelle Hall, Tyler Cole, Hannah Singleton, Payton Jinks and Devin Trace Donalson; her loving companion, Tiny and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
