Myra "Duck" Fleming Hartzog, age 90, of Attapulgus, GA, passed away Monday, October 18, 2021. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Attapulgus Baptist Church with Reverend Harold Burrell officiating. Interment will be at Attapulgus Baptist Church Cemetery. Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines. "Duck" was born June 15, 1931 in Henry County, Alabama, the daughter of Ella Whatley Fleming and J.C. Fleming.  She was a member of Attapulgus Baptist Church for over 70 years and was a retired food service worker for Decatur County School System. Survivors include her son, Steve Hartzog (Jane) of Columbus, GA; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.   "Duck" was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, and a son, Joe Hartzog.
