Mrs. Myra Johnson Tillman, age 76., passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the residence near Donalsonville, GA. The graveside memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Oak City Cemetery in Bainbridge, GA with Rev. Edwin Willis officiating. Mrs. Tillman was born on September 29, 1930 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Eugene J. Johnson and Julius Cohen Thornton Johnson. She graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1947 and married Jack C. Tillman on March 4, 1949. She was a secretary and attended Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Bainbridge, GA. Survivors include her husband, Jack C. Tillman of Donalsonville, GA; a son: Jaye C. Tillman of Donalsonville, GA; 2 daughters: Tana E. Tillman of Jackson, GA and Lynn T. Banister of Stockbridge, GA; a sister: Jean J. Ellis of Donalsonville, GA; and 6 grandchildren: Waylon Scott Tillman, Patrick Tillman, Chad Tillman, Trey Tillman, Kara Banister and Gia Doutre.
