Myrtice Branch Cowart, 81, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2007 at her residence in Donalsonville, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2007 at Calvary Assembly of God Church with Rev. James Scarborough, and Rev. Curtis Earnest officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Butch Wallace, Jimmy Wallace, George Whittaker, Bobby Kaple, Mark Whittaker, and Garrett Miller serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Cowart was born May 20, 1926 in Greensboro, FL to the late George Allen Branch and Lula Tipton Branch. She retired from Williamson Dickies and was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church. She is preceded in death by her son Freddy A. Miller, and two husbands, Vernice H. Miller, and L.G. "Dick" Cowart. Survivors include two sons; Jerry W. Miller and wife Becky of Donalsonville, GA and Grady L. Miller and wife Debra of Brinson, GA; a daughter, June Funderburk and husband Wayne of LaGrange, GA; three sisters, Ruby McDonald of Donalsonville, GA, Wannie Lee Burdett of Conyers, GA, and Margaret Lorenz of Colquitt, GA; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
