Funeral Services for Mrs. Myrtle Owens Gainous, 87, of Bainbridge, GA will be held Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Fell and Rev. Conrad Salter officiating. Private interment will follow in Mars Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Gainous was born February 27, 1923 in Grady County, GA to the now late Alfred and Rosa Lee Harrell Owens. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Gainous lived in Decatur County most all of her life and loved her animals and her family. She passed away Thursday, August 5, 2010 at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, FL. Mrs. Gainous is survived by one son, Tommy (wife Sheila) Logue of Tallahassee, FL; one sister, Dorothy Moore of Cairo, GA; four grandchildren, Debbie Logue Fell, Blaine Logue, Melony Logue Goram, and Belinda Justice; eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husbands, J.M. Logue and Henry Gainous, and her son, Alfred Franklin Logue.
