Nancy Franklin

Mrs. Nancy Franklin passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2013, in Woodbridge, Virginia. Services for Mrs. Franklin will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Eldorendo Baptist Church in Eldorendo, Georgia. The Rev. Dr. Tommy Long will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Eldorendo Church cemetery. Nancy Pitts Franklin was born August 18, 1939 in Perry, Florida to Rubin Pitts and Hallie Mixion Pitts. She married Harmon G. Franklin, who preceded her in death, March 6, 2006. She and her husband were a team in long-haul trucking. Mrs. Franklin is survived by her daughters, Sherye Clark of Los Angeles, California and Leigh Cappleman of Georgia; sons, Kenneth Franklin of Dale City, Virginia and Robert "Bob" Franklin of Galt, California; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
