Nancy King

Nancy Phyllis King, age 51, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, April 26, 2019, at Memorial Manor, Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Nancy will be held at 4:00 pm., Sunday, April 28, 2019, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Pastor Ryan Carnes will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 3:00 pm. Phyllis was born January 20, 1968 in Atlanta, Georgia to Jessie Paul Jackson and Dorothy Ann Britt Jackson. She grew up in north Georgia. Phyllis was married to William King, Sr. They have been married for 24 years. She loved children and enjoyed teaching at Little Blessings Daycare. A member of Bainbridge Church of God, she taught in the Children's ministry. Fluent in sign language (ASL), Phyllis taught sign and formed the performance group, Signs of Praise. She loved to go camping and fishing with her family. Phyllis King will be dearly missed by the family she loved so very much and her many friends. Phyllis King is survived by her husband, William King, Sr. of Lake Seminole, Georgia; children, William King, Jr. and wife, Kaitlin of Leesburg, Georgia, and Tiffany Nicole King of Lake Seminole; father, J. Paul Jackson of Climax, GA; and brother, Phillip Jackson and wife, Gina of Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Ann Britt Jackson.
