Nathan Lowe

Nathan C. Lowe passed away August 9, 2017 at his home in Vada, Georgia, Decatur County (Mt. Pleasant Community) at the age of 92. Nathan was born on September 24, 1925 and lived his whole life on the farm with his parents. For many years, he was a proud member of Georgia Farm Bureau and a longtime member of the Church of Christ in Bainbridge, GA. Nathan's later years were devoted to taking care of his parents and was faithful to that cause. He was a compassionate man who loved everyone and enjoyed telling jokes, listening to old country music and being with his dogs. Nathan is preceded in death by his parents, Russell S. Lowe and Fairy Lou Dean Lowe; and his sister, Louise Lowe Glover. Nathan is survived by his sister Faye Vivian Lowe Sapp of St. Petersburg, FL; nephew Billy Sapp, his wife Leslye and their daughter Audrey of Tomball, TX; nephews Danny Sapp of St. Augustine, FL, and Wayne Sapp of St. Petersburg, FL, Jack Glover, Carol Glover and Ann Glover of Point Comfort and Victoria Texas; as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all of Nathan's supporters, especially friends and neighbors Kent Bush, Norma, Harol and Kathy McConnell, who dedicated much of their time and energy to help Nathan in his later years.
