Nelda Mills

Mrs. Nelda Salomé Mills, 65, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Visitation will be held from 5 until 6 p.m. with a service following at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15, at Osborn Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Roselawn Cemetery in Bainbridge, GA. Mrs. Mills was a native of Bisbee, Arizona and a resident of Bossier City, LA for 28 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a very special lady that touched the lives of all she met. Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her father, Manuel C. Casillas; mother, Jessie Casillas; brother, Manuel Casillas; sister-in-law, Terri Casillas; daughter, Katrina Callender; and husband, William Robert Mills. She is survived by her daughter, Christina Mills Stage; "daughter-in-love" , Brenda Mills; son, William Robert Mills II; daughter-in-law, Jenna Mills; nine grandchildren, Kirstin Smith (25 yrs), Dakota Smith (21 yrs), Mason Smith (18 yrs), Briana Mills (19 yrs), Katie Rose Stage (11 yrs), Kendall Stage (10 yrs), Parker Stage (8 yrs), Gabriel Luis (3 yrs), and Greyson Ronkartz (7 yrs); and one great-grandchild, Riley Knippers (4 yrs). She is also survived by her sister, Rose Hebel and husband, Kevin. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all of the family and friends for all of their loving support.
