Nell Davis

Nell Ingram Davis, 83, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Doyle Harris and Dale Harris officiating. A private interment will be held at Sylvania Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Davis was born October 16, 1926 in Daleville, AL, the daughter of Gussie Lee Ingram and Lillie Whitworth Ingram. She was an observer for the Georgia Forestry Commission for 18 years and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Chattahoochee Congregation. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Davis. Survivors include her son, Johnny Davis of Bainbridge, GA; her brother, Donald Ingram of Whigham, GA; her sisters, Mildred Howell and Faye Gunn, both of Bainbridge, GA; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Davis, Clay Davis, Audrey D. Stanley, and Lori D. White; nine great-grandchildren, Matthew Davis, Hevin Davis, Angel Davis, Josh Davis, Dalton Hutchinson, Madison Stanley, Morgan Stanley, Seth White, and Stacy White; and her daughter-in-law, Ann Davis Weeks of Chattahoochee, FL.
