Mrs. Nell Simpson, 83, of Warrenton, GA and formerly of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, June 8, 2007 at Gibson Health and Rehab Center in Gibson, GA. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Joe Morrison officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memory Gardens. Mrs. Simpson was born October 3, 1923 in Conyers, GA to the late Theodore Madison Slaughter and Bessie Mae Nicholson Slaughter. She was a homemaker and a member of Southwest Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, W. Ralph Simpson of Warrenton, GA; two daughters, Teresa Simpson Story and husband Gordon of Warrenton, GA and Karen Simpson Lynn and husband Leon of Thomasville, GA; four grandchildren, Gina Story, Brandon Lynn, Bethany Lynn Kuhns and husband Justin, and Keris Story; and three great-grandchildren, Alyssa Story, Alora Ennis, and Wyatt Kuhns.
