Nellie Harrell

Nellie N. Harrell, 97, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Ivey Funeral Home with Rev. Milton Harrison officiating and will conclude at the chapel. Interment will be at Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery with her nephews serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, prior to the service. Mrs. Harrell was born August 2, 1916 in Seminole County, GA, the daughter of Lewis Nix and Janie Mae Clayton Nix. She was a homemaker and member of West Street Baptist Church. Survivors include several nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Harrell; and her siblings, Connie, Laverne , and Palestine.
