Nina Tonge

Mrs. Nina Hatcher Tonge, 90, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Jeff Stapleton officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery. Mrs. Tonge was born July 2, 1916 in Decatur County, GA to the late Eulie Walon Hatcher and Aluta Mae Valentine Hatcher. She graduated from Pine Hill High School, was a retired clerk from Lane's Pharmacy, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred S. Tonge. Survivors include two brothers, E. W. (Pete) Hatcher, Jr. of Houston, TX, and Guy V. Hatcher of Bainbridge, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
