Norman Braswell

Mr. Norman Dennis Braswell, age 76, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, in Eufaula, Alabama. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 28, at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery, 2785 Joel Poole Road, Donalsonville, Georgia ( Desser Community). Pastor Bill Sanders will officiate. James Braswell, Tommy Braswell, David Braswell, Jr., Chester Bland, Bobbie Haskins, and Pete Laylock will serve as honorary pall bearers. In accordance with State of Georgia guidelines concerning the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing and to wear protective masks. Norman was born November 19, 1944 in Donalsonville, Georgia. His parents, Randall Dennis Braswell and Allean Miller Braswell, have preceded him in death. Mr. Braswell grew up and lived most of his life in Bainbridge, Georgia. Norman loved to build. He was a talented woodworker. In 2013, he married Minnie Hardwick. He and Minnie moved to Georgetown, Georgia. Norman loved his church, New Harvest Worship Center, and gladly served in any manner he could. His children and grandchildren were his heart. Norman Braswell will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. Norman Dennis Braswell is survived by his wife, Minnie Hardwick of Georgetown, Georgia; children, Stephen Braswell and Delaina Trumbull of Georgetown, Elizabeth Payne (Stephen) of Colquitt, Georgia, and James Hardwick of Auburn, Alabama; brother, David Braswell of Brinson, Georgia; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Martha Clemmons, and step-son, George Hardwick.
