Odessar Kelly

Funeral Services for Mrs. Odessar Clinton Kelly, age 87 of Bainbridge, GA will be held Monday, October 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Stanley Phillips officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery with Mark Phillips, William Howell, Jr., Justin Kelly, Brad Brock, Phillip Kelly and Rick Kelly serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Anderson, Jeff Kelly, Morris Glisson, Jackie Glisson, Kevin Walls and Bobby Glisson. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Kelly was born February 10, 1921in Decatur County, GA to the now late Hugh Alexander and Lela Jowers Clinton. She was married to Emitt Kelly, Sr. and was a homemaker. She lived in Bainbridge all of her life. She was a member of Pine Forrest Baptist Church and loved gardening, canning, crocheting and her family. Mrs. Kelly passed away at her residence Friday October 24, 2008. She is survived by six daughters, Jimmie (husband Larry) Anderson of Pelham, GA, Judy (husband Don)Vaughn of Riverton, WY, Lucia (husband Lanny) Walls of Cumming, GA, Catherine (the late Willie Weste) Phillips and Kay (husband William) Howell both of Bainbridge, GA and Tammy (husband Bobby) Brock of Climax, GA; seven sons Emitt Kelly, Jr. and Gary Kelly of Climax, GA, Calvin (wife Penny) Kelly, Oscar (wife Barbara) Kelly, Ronnie(wife Pam Kelly and Donnie (wife Beth) Kelly all of Bainbridge, GA and Danny (wife Jan) Kelly of Whigham, GA; thirty two grandchildren, sixty two great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren; three sisters Ruth Lambert of Bainbridge, GA, Ann Clenney and Pat Carroll both of Tallahassee, FL and one brother Charlie Earl Clinton of Bainbridge, GA. Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
