Ofellon Shead

Mrs. Ofellon "Sue" Shead, age 81, passed away early Monday, March 11, 2013, at her home in Whigham, Georgia. A private, family service will be held at a later date. Ofellon Stephens was born May 7, 1931 in Cook County, Georgia to Robert Stephens and Martha Pritchard Stephens. She was married to Frank Shead, who preceded her in death. She worked as a loving wife and caregiver. She was of the Pentecostal faith. Mrs. Shead is survived by her daughter, Janice Pinion Clark of Whigham; grandchildren, Teresa Pinion of Crawfordville, Florida, Connie Trevino and husband, Ricky of Whigham, Kristina Pinion of Vidor, Texas, and Renea Whitmire and husband, Mitchell of Whigham; great-grandchildren, Brad Barber and wife, Emily, Nikki Stoddard, Shelley Sheffield, Ashlee' Stoddard, Tyler Barber, Kyle Waters, Kayla Clark, Taylor Byrd, Cierra Whitmire, Tanner Richardson, and Harley Tomberlin; great-great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Gomez, Alexis Barber, and Leah Barber. Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Shead; son, Gary Pinion; grandson, Lil Kenny Whitmire; and great-grandson, Austin Whitmire.
