Pamela W. Battles, 56, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. DeWitt Phillips officiating. There will be a private graveside service held at Oak City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012, prior to the funeral service at Ivey Funeral Home. Pam was born December 20, 1955 in Bainbridge, GA. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1974 and a member of the Albany Ladies of Nasah. Survivors include her husband, Joe Frank Battles of Bainbridge, GA; her children, Tiffanie Gibson and her husband, Jared, of Moultrie, GA, Heather Battles of Huntsville, AL, Matthew Battles and his wife, Mindy, of Smithville, GA, Amber Owens and her fiancé, Earl, of Bainbridge, GA, and Joshua Battles of Bainbridge, GA; her mother, Doris Wimberly Taylor and her husband, Dan, of Bainbridge, GA; her sisters, Lisa Ponder of Bainbridge, GA and Carla Smith of Bainbridge, GA; her 5 grandchildren, Tyler Sumner, Gabe Gibson, Jayden Brown, Brett Battles, and Riley Brown; and her grandmother, Genita Bryant of Lakeland, FL. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Wimberly.
