Pamela Thomas Maynard, 55, of Auburn, AL, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. CDT on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Auburn First Presbyterian Church in Auburn, AL with Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home in charge of arrangements . The graveside service will be held at 4:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery in Hopeful, GA with Ivey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Pam Maynard April 10, 1957 in New Orleans to Robert Morgan Thomas, M.D. and Virginia Bonnville Thomas. Educated in the Columbia, MO public school system, Pam was a graduate of Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, MO. She attended Stephens College and the University of Michigan as an art major. Pam was a licensed pilot and a retired Trans World Airlines flight attendant. She married Charles H. Maynard, Sr. on February 26, 1989 in New Orleans. Pam was a loving mother and wife, a gifted artist, world traveler, and a culinary master. She had a heart of gold, always ready to help those in need and will be missed by her family. Pam is survived by her husband, Charles H. Maynard of Auburn, AL; her two daughters, Margaret Katherine Maynard and Virginia Morgan Maynard of Auburn, AL ; her son, Charles H. Maynard, Jr. and his wife, Kristen, of Charleston, SC; her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert M. Thomas of Columbia, MO; her two sisters, Susan Thomas Dibden and her husband, Fraser, of Dubai, UAE and Celia Thomas of Overland Park, KS; her brother, Robert M. Thomas Jr. and his wife, Kerry, of Leawood, KS; and her granddaughter, Peyton Lanier Maynard of Charleston, SC.
