Patricia Elaine Hooks, age 64, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be held in her honor.
Patricia Elaine Hooks, nicknamed “Peanut” by her dad, was born January 5, 1961 in Bainbridge, Georgia. Her parents, Henry Hooks and Francine Marie Gunn Hooks have preceded her in death. She was a wonderful, loving, selfless person. She always had your back, always there for you. She loved being around the water, especially the beach, her favorite place to be. Sitting on her porch and riding on the back, dirt roads gave her much joy. She handled her disabilities with great strength of character. She was so loyal and loving to her family and cherished her dogs. Elaine will be deeply missed by so many.
Elaine Hooks is survived by her life partner, Anthony Valencia; daughter, April Stephens; siblings; Dee McCuller, Shirley Fackler, Gloria Chapman, and Karen Bedwell; and grandchildren, Cierra Whitmire and Ashley Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Austin Whitmire.
