Patricia Sharber

Patricia Austin (Patty) Sharber , 79, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Shepard and Dr. Pete Sharber officiating and will conclude at the chapel. Mrs. Sharber was born June 2, 1932 in Illinois, She was raised by her grandparents, Bob and Claude Dean, in Bainbridge, GA. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1950, and member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Sharber, with her daughter, Lynn, owned Patti-Lyn's, a retail clothing store, for many years. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James E. Sharber of Bainbridge, GA; her sons, Eddie Sharber and his wife, Gail, of Bainbridge, GA and Jerry Sharber and his wife, Cena, of Bainbridge, GA; her daughters, Lisa Sharber of Bainbridge, GA and Lynn Sharber of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Jes Sharber, Tabitha S. Brock, Jy S. Rogerson, Matthew Sharber, Daniel Sharber, and Rebecca Sharber; and her great-granddaughter, Annabelle Pfeiffer. Mrs. Sharber was preceded in death by her sisters, Joan Nelson and Paula Monahan.
