Patricia Ann Wimberly, 60, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Black Jack Baptist Church with Rev. Bill McCamon and Rev. Allen Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Black Jack Baptist Church Cemetery with Britt Jones, Brantly Whitaker, Marion Humphrey, Alex Wimberly, Terry Webb and Jonathon Gibson serving as active pallbearers.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Ivey Funeral Home. She was married to Lawson "Boy" Wimberly, Jr. and was a member of Black Jack Baptist Church. She worked as a processing clerk at Bainbridge Public Safety for eleven years.Patricia loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was an excellent cook and always had a little something to offer anyone who decided to drop in for a visit. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy.Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Lawson "Boy" Wimberly, Jr.; her children, Shannon Ray Wimberly, Gary Wimberly, and Amber Wimberly all of Bainbridge; her siblings, Kathy Eakin of Bainbridge and Wayne Miley of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Brittany, Miranda, Alex, Alexis, Lawson, Miley and Aaron; and her great-grandchildren, Zoey and Aubree.
